The Baptism River Inn Bed & Breakfast has been an amazing getaway for two decades, allowing couples to escape to the North woods year-round. Beginning in July 2021 we have converted this amazing getaway to the Tettegouche Lodge, a whole house vacation rental.  With this change you can gather up to 18 of your family and friends to rent the entire house (including the "family" side of the B&B which has a kitchen, 4 more bedrooms, and lots more).  You can find more details at www.tettegouchelodge.com

We know many of our previous Baptism River Inn B&B guests are repeat customers who prefer to not rent the whole house.  To that end we are planning B&B getaways to invite previous guests (and new) to enjoy the amazing lodge and property without having to individually rent the whole house.  More details will be forthcoming but if you want to ensure you get notified of the dates first e-mail us at inquiries@tettegouchelodge.com

Lastly, stay tuned via our website, Facebook, or Instagram for future announcements as we continue to plan out how we can help guests best enjoy this amazing property including potentially adding small, upscale cabins on the ridge over the river.

Our accommodations are centrally located in the heart of the Minnesota Lake Superior North Shore.  Off the beaten path and yet an incredibly convenient home base for exploring the Minnesota Arrowhead region.  Only about an hour's travel time to Grand Marais, Duluth or Ely.  Many of the most popular North Shore destinations are less then half an hour from the B&B: Gooseberry Falls State Park, Superior Hiking Trail, Gitchi-Gami State Trail, Palisade Head, Shovel Point, Superior National Forest, Superior National Forest Scenic Byway, BWCAW and North Shore Scenic Drive. Check out even more area attractions here.  We're in the midst everything northeastern Minnesota has to offer, but tucked away from sight a few miles up Highway 1 from scenic Highway 61.
